Grand Canyon National Park

Hello, Grand Canyon!!!
Keridan and I  arrived to the Grand Canyon around 9:00am. Our first stop was to the visitors desk to get a map so we could get a game plan for which route we wanted to take, based on how long we wanted to spend there. There are many different routes that you can chose from ranging from a 5 minute hike to a week long hike all through the Canyon.

Summertime in Phoenix

How beautiful is this embroidered dress? Embroidery soothes my soul almost as much as the view at the Grand Canyon did. (See the Grand Canyon blog post here)
Today was different than any of the previous days on our road trip. After leaving the Grand Canyon we arrived in Phoenix around 1:00pm this afternoon and have a fun day of relaxing planned. We are staying with a single women who lives here in Gilbert, which is a small suburb of Phoenix.

Horseshoe Bend

I find myself in complete awe as I sit here looking at Horseshoe Bend and the natural beauty. It is truly beautiful and so crazy that the earth (God) could create such a breathtaking landscape. I've looked at so many Pinterest pictures of Horseshoe Bend and endless google images of it as well. Nothing quite does it justice. In a picture you can't see the depth and feel the butterflies in your stomach as you get too close to the edge of the cliff.

A Day in Denver

As Keridan and I arrive in Denver  we are so excited to share that we are on our first road trip! Last Summer, I was lucky enough to be invited to go on Keridans senior trip with her and her mom to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything about it. If you ever get the chance to see Jamaica I would highly recommend it. I also went to Cancun Mexico with 15 other Graham High School graduates for my senior trip and I can easily say Jamaica was 1000 times more beautiful then Cancun. They're not necessarily in the same, I know, and  there are beautiful places in Mexico, but Jamaica was truly breathtaking.

Mexican Embroidery

Happy Cinco De Mayo, bring on the chips & salsa!! (Like I really need a reason to binge eat Mexican Food)
For most places on the globe this dress would suit perfectly in the summer. The colors are on point, the embroidery is extremely pleasing to the eye and sleeves are tasteful. It is not too heavy, although long sleeved.
