Horseshoe Bend

I find myself in complete awe as I sit here looking at Horseshoe Bend and the natural beauty. It is truly beautiful and so crazy that the earth (God) could create such a breathtaking landscape. I've looked at so many Pinterest pictures of Horseshoe Bend and endless google images of it as well. Nothing quite does it justice. In a picture you can't see the depth and feel the butterflies in your stomach as you get too close to the edge of the cliff.
This is mine and Keridans' first real scenic view and one of the main reasons we wanted to come on this road trip. We happened to arrive to Horseshoe Bend before all of the local tour busses arrived with loads of fellow tourist, which was nice.
The lord also blessed us with the most perfect weather. It was 65 degrees and had the softest breeze.
We wanted to see both Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon (they are very close to each other) but unfortunately are only getting to see Horseshoe Bend. Antelope Canyon is not free or open to the public. You have to reserve a spot with a local tour company which cost anywhere from $150- $200. We're both college girls with a budget, the free(er) the better, so Horseshoe Bend it is! I can't say I'm not sad we aren't getting to see Antelope Canyon but there is always next time! Also, I think this view makes up for the both!
Next stop The Grand Canyon!
