This 90 degree weather at the end of September does not have me craving a pumpkin spice latte or any other warm fall/winter drink for that matter. It has me still sipping on my iced coffees and to be honest my feelings aren't hurt about it. I have a strong love for iced coffee but here's my dilemma.
It's not the calories or the sugar or any of those other things that I should probably be concerned with, it's the price tag. If I would have skipped my Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato Starbucks run before class 3 of the 4 days I had class this week I would have saved a total of $14.85. Now, that doesn't sound like a ton of money in a weeks time but what if I continue with this luxury 3 days a week for 6 weeks. In that amount of time I would have spent $90 on my tasty drink of choice. (kind of sick to my stomach after finding that out.)
So, I've figured out a way to still drink my tasty drink on occasion at the wonderful price tag of $2 instead of $4.95. And that's by making it at home with this recipe!
