Bray & Kaye Take the US | California Coast

Welcome to my blog new and reoccuring visitors!

To all my friends that love to travel, you're going to love what I have in store for you today!
To my friends that are indifferent about traveling, hopefully that's about to change!

Keridan and I took a 2,000 mile road trip down the California coast this summer and today I'm sharing all about it.

A little background on the Road Trippers ||

Keridan and I met our 8th grade year in middle school when I moved to Woodward, OK. Her and I were best friends at an instant and have been in a long distance best-friendship since I moved from Woodward back to Graham my Freshman year of High School. One thing I've learned in life is that great friends are hard to find so when you do find them, hold on tight! Our senior year of high school we were talking about traveling one day on the phone, I've always been a traveler at heart.

We were talking about all the places we'd love to go. Spain, Italy, Bali and the list goes on. Though we have big traveling aspirations we came to the conclusion we should see the entire United States, before we venture on to other countries. That day we made it a goal to see the US before graduating college. We have 2-ish years to go!

Summer 2017 was our first Bray & Kaye Road Trip. If you missed it, you should definitely go back and see where all we went!

Our goal is to inspire other travelers like ourself to dust off your paper map (or apple map) and go see the world. And if you don't enjoy to travel I want you to be inspired by the end of these blog post to hop in the car and go somewhere! Don't let money discourage you. Money is temporary and traveling and the memories you make are priceless.

Flash forward to May 2018 ||

We traveled the California Coast this year and to say it was a dream would be an understatement.

It went a little something like this:

We started at my apartment in Lubbock, TX. Drove to Flagstaff, AZ ate dinner and spent the night. Woke up, drove, and ended the day in Sin City. From there we went to Yosemite National park and then slept in Sonora, CA. We stayed with my brother for two nights after that in Whitethorn, CA. Then started making our way down the coast to San Francisco, Carmel CA, stayed a few nights in LA, Arizona and then back to Lubbock. How's that for a road trip?

DAY 1: FLAGSTAFF, AZ
DAY 2: VEGAS & 7 MAGIC MOUNTAINS
DAY 3: YOSEMITE & SONORA
DAY 4: WHITETHROWN, CA
DAY 5: WHITETHORN, CA
DAY 6: SAN FRANCISCO
DAY 7: CARMEL, CA & LA
DAY 8: LOS ANGELES, CA
DAY 9: GILBERT, AZ
DAY 10: GILBERT, AZ
DAY 10: HOME

Below you can see our trail on the map.
Now that you have an idea of where all we went, go on and read the following blog post. Try not to get lost or siri is definitely going to re-route you, and take you a longer way. haha
