CALIFORNIA COAST ROAD TRIP | FOODIE

Sometimes I have a hard time deciding if I love to travel, because I love to travel, or because I love to eat. Really though, I spend so much time finding the perfect place to eat everywhere I go. I love a good trendy coffee shop or a back alley Mexican food joint. Both of which we went to while on our road trip! Today I'm going to share food all along the California Coast.

If you don't leave this post hungry, I didn't reach my goal!

Steep
FLAGSTAFF, AZ
We found this hidden gem while walking in downtown Flagstaff, quickly after we arrived. Keridan and I both got a green tea and sat for a while.

Sosoba Noodle Co
FLAGSTAFF, AZ

Sweet Shoppe
FLAGSTAFF, AZ

Cafe 8
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
We shared the seafood pasta and it was great! However I've heard their clam chowder is to die for. We didn't give it a try and I regret it already!

Boudin *Peets Coffee*
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
One Carmel Macchiato with nonfat milk please.

Barn Fresh Produce
MOSS LANDING, CA
While cruising down scenic Highway 101 there was a local market every 70-80 miles. This was one of my favorite things! As soon as we got finished eating a pale of strawberries we'd be passing another farmers market that had fresh peaches, or cherries so we'd stop and load up again!

Cafe Carmel
CARMEL, CA

Malibu Farms
MALIBU, CA
Malibu Farms in definitely a hot spot in Malibu. There is both inside & outside seating, so we chose to sit outside and look at the ocean view. What we didn't know that as soon as it got dark it would be cold. Lesson learned! I wouldn't say it was the best food we ate while on the trip but the experience made it worth it.

Go Get Em Tiger
LOS ANGELES, CA
Great brunch place in LA! I felt rushed while I was ordering so I wouldn't really recommend mine for brunch but for lunch totally. It was terrioki type bowl with brown rice, kale, cucumber and an egg. Keridan got avocado toast and scrambled eggs. Hers was delish, we ended up trading halfway through *Selfie prop* haha, what're friends for?

Caffe Dolce
WHITETHORN, CA

Hopefully this post helped you channel your inner foodie. We ate good food and took excellent selfies. This road trip comes to an end in the next post LOS ANGELES INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES. Click on the colored text to view or it's also linked below!
